Business Words was founded by Michael and Julie Gee who are experienced in writing for all purposes and diverse audiences
Michael
Gee B.Bus. (Bus. Mgt. & Acct.)
With 15 years experience in senior management in listed companies and as an Executive Director with smaller proprietary firms, Michael has extensive experience developing highly successful and competitive business development and operational strategies across a diverse range of industries – marketing services, call centres, manufacturing, logistics and building.
He also has proven expertise as a trouble-shooter particularly in relation to operational systems, HR issues, cost consolidation and reduction, supply chain and warehousing.
In addition Michael has a broad range of qualifications from being a licensed plumber through to a degree in Business Management and Accounting. An experienced trainer, presenter and public speaker, Michael holds a qualification in Training and Assessment.
Julie
Gee B.A. Grad. Dip. T.M. Grad. Cert. C.E.D.
Julie brings 20 years experience in writing, research and analysis to Business Words. During her career she has held senior positions in state government, been employed in small and large business, worked as a university researcher, in the community sector, and has been independent consultant for the past 7 years. She is also a qualified Careers Counsellor and a Professional Member of the Career Development Association of Australia.
Julie has written and designed documents for a wide range of clients – state government bodies, private sector businesses of all sizes, not-for-profit community organisations and a large number of private individuals. She has written material for all purposes and diverse audiences including creative marketing documents, websites, and technical conference papers, and has experience working with graphic designers, printers, and website developers.
